Why “Awareness and Love”? Because we should be aware from the start of the following differences between love and infatuation:
Society, religion, media – everything around tells us that love is forever. Which is true, but there’s a small specification missing, which is very important: REAL love is forever.
Infatuation is doomed to fade. ‘Love’ at first sight is doomed to fade because it is, in most cases, just infatuation.
Real love takes time to grow and nothing can destroy it, is like a diamond.But most of us don’t know how to recognise the difference, and from here the problem arises. There are many couples that once had a living flower and now they’re looking sad at a dead one, wondering what’s to be done to revive it. But feelings, love (up to a certain level) – are a living flower. The way they were born from a seed, the same way they can disappear if proper conditions are not met. Real love is a real flower – not a plastic flower which is ethernal, but a fake.
Hence if you feel the spring is gone, if you feel that the butterflies did not grow to an ethernal, diamond love – it’s better to give up, than try and resurrect the dead, or cling to a lie, a plastic flower that was once alive.
Think of it not as of a failure, but as of an experience, a way to learn and grow. Next time you’ll know better which one is the flower that is going to thrive in your garden, and you’ll be so much more skilled in taking care of it.
